No View, The Radio XXII
Stand Your Ground and Hold Water

For the latest publication of the series No View, The Radio, the experimental duo Ch have created their new and original piece 'Stand Your Ground and Hold Water', an improvisation consisting of voice processing, sampling, sound collage and more.

Ch consists of Tisa Neža Herlec and Linus Bonduelle, both of whom are music makers and visual artists based in Rotterdam. Tisa Neža Herlec's musical work is primarily focused on the voice and its use of language, the shifting of meaning of words and language through vocal manipulations. Linus Bonduelle's musical work is focused on field recordings, the alternative use of musical instruments and the manipulation and enhancement of the two. The combination of the above results in shifted perceptions of space, and the physicality of the voice.

About the series: No View, The Radio
The arts are taking a break. Theaters, museums, concert halls and galleries are closed. To a large extent, the art that is so desperately needed right now is inaccessible. Imagine being quarantined at home without films, without books, without music. Though we may not access the art, we can still think about it. The enforced rupture of this isolation can also be an opportune moment to reflect on and from, the arts. Every Friday for the upcoming weeks we will showcase original musical works by different artists, selected by Alex Andropoulos.
