Morning programma - Workshop

As part of the Cherish & Destroy festival, a value assessment workshop is being organized. This is an additional activity that requires separate registration. Participants in the workshop can choose between two topics:

1. Christus Triumfatorkerk – Architect: Geert Drexhage (1914-1982)
2. Former American Embassy – Architect: Marcel Breuer (1902-1981)

The workshop begins with a visit to the selected building, allowing participants to form their first impressions. After these initial observations, the workshop continues with a structured value assessment under the guidance of a lecturer from the Faculty of Architecture at TU Delft. This session takes place in the library, auditorium, or 'blue classroom' — all located within the former American Embassy building. Experts contributing to the workshop include: Lidy Meijers, Chris Smith, Sebas Veldhuisen, Rico Heykant, Yimei Zhang, and Erik Hehenkamp. The workshop is free of charge.
